    Make fabric strawberries

Make fabric strawberries to decorate an apron and teatowel, or make summer bunting!

This method is like 'cheat's appliqué'! Use Bondaweb to fuse the layers together with no fraying.

    You will need:

    • Green & red cotton fabric
    • Bondaweb
    • White seed beads
    • Iron & ironing board
    • Needle & thread
    • Sharp scissors

Read on for our easy guide...

    Step 1

Iron Bondaweb to the back of your red and green fabric pieces. Next, draw strawberry shapes on the waxy paper backing, then cut them out – do the main pieces in red and the stalk and the leaves in green.

    Step 2

Peel the backing paper off of your cut out pieces. Position the red body of the strawberry together with the green stalk, then iron over the whole piece to fix it onto your fabric.

    Step 3

Finally, use matching thread to stitch white seed beads across your strawberry. Delicious!

    Step 4

These little strawberries look great on tea towels, tablecloths and more.
