    Add doors to your pages

    As seen in Papercraft inspirations

For an unexpected treat, create mini doors in your page which open to reveal a tantalising glimpse of what you'll find when you turn over to see the next one. Follow the steps below to create a door. You don't have to stick to one per page, though if you add more, remember to leave as much space as you can between them to keep the page strong.

    Step 1

Glue several pages together bulldog clips will hold them while they dry. Add paint or paper for a background and leave to dry.

    Step 2

Choose a rectangular picture for the front of your door and stick it to the page where you want the door to be. Leave this to dry.

    Step 3

Cut around three edges of the picture then score the remaining (left) edge to fold. Use a cutting mat to protect the pages behind.

    Step 4

Open the door and draw an outline on to the next page so that you can plan where to add something of interest through the door!
