We only get to watch our children grow once in a lifetime - so treasure those memories & craft a height chart to record their progress!
"I was surprised how often my children, Alexander and Georgina, want to check their height against it and how many times I have used the marks to order clothes for them!" says scrapbooker Jane Dean. There are plenty of height charts available to buy but they're usually aimed at toddlers and very young children. At 1 years' old Georgina is still growing, so I decided to make a chart for her room using my scrapbook supplies. One of the best things about this chart is all you need is a couple of sheets of 12x12in paper to get started. Simply cut them in half, then stick together to form your basic chart!
This is a pdf article, first published in Papercraft inspirations. It includes Jane's tips & tricks for making your own height chart, plus a step-by-step tutorial for how to make your own height marker pegs. All shopping lists and supplies suggestions in this pdf were correct at the time of publication, but you may need to improvise & shop around if items are no longer in the shops.
