Giving your home a makeover can be fun, exciting... and let's face it, hard graft in places! Just ask designer Jane Dean - she spent 12 years waiting to decorate her family home, and she wanted to record the whole process with this hand decorated, house-shaped minibook. First step was finding the perfect home for her minibook - a chipboard house by Maya Road! Then Jane took pics of the house before (and later after) decorating, and hoarded lots of evidence along the way! “ I wanted to keep a record of what we have done to our home and how much it all cost along with swatches of what we used. One day it will seem very old fashioned but hopefully when our children look through the book they will remember the home of their childhood.”
