    Tweed flower mitts

Bust that stash! Miriam McDonald's pretty mitts take just one ball of wool plus some leftover sock yarn

These mittens are a very simple stranded colourwork project, worked in the round, with no charts to read. You should be able to knit them in a couple of days. These mitts will fit hands 18-19cm round.

The main yarn is a lovely tweed one from Lang Yarns (contact Art Yarn for stockist details) and the contrast is provided by a painted sock yarn – it changes colour so you don’t have to!

We're thrilled that Simply Knitting's Miriam McDonald has shared her pattern exclusively with The Making Spot! If you like this, don't miss Miriam's gorgeous Silken Cream accessories project.
