These fingerless handwarmers by Anniken Allis feature an interesting cable pattern that has been designed to appeal to both men and women. Says Anniken: “The thumb uses an afterthought method, where stitches are knitted using some waste yarn of similar weight. The waste yarn is later removed and the stitches revealed are picked up and knitted to create the thumb.” Instructions for the cable pattern are presented in both written and charted formats.
