“Inspired by a walk on the beach, the Sugar Kelp cable is based on the beautiful seaweed fronds washed ashore,” says designer Emma Vining.
The pattern combines cabling, increasing and decreasing to form a lattice. The sweater has a central cable panel on a reverse stocking stitch background, with the cable panel emerging from the lower rib and blending into the front neckband. The sleeves also feature a small cable motif at the cuffs.
Designed for sizes S-XL, to fit busts from 32-46 inches. The pattern requires 9 - 12 x 50g balls of Sirdar Click DK yarn. You can find our full list of knitting abbreviations here.
