    Steampunk cowl

Jane Burns has designed a funky steampunk cowl using just 100g of yarn!

Cowls are the perfect accessory for keeping your neck warm without fuss, and perfect for an extra layer now as well as later – Jane Burns’ steampunk cowl in rich purple is on-trend for this season. It has an intricate (but not difficult!) cable pattern with a more delicate ‘skirt’ that drapes beautifully on the upper part of your shoulders, keeping you warm and cosy.

If you want to make it longer, just repeat rows 7 and 8  of the pattern a few times. Buttons complete the picture – go for ornate metal for an authentic steampunk look.
