The Soliloquy yarn is described as “a lace yarn strong enough to knit socks with, and a sock yarn delicate enough to knit lace with.” Rhian Drinkwater has used it to create a pair of socks and wristwarmers with fine, delicate details.
“The stitch count for the sock is higher than normal, but the plain foot means the knitting goes very quickly!” says Rhian. “Varying the placement of the heel on the left and right sock means that the jog in the patterns is mirrored, and can be worn on the inside of the leg on both socks.”
The wristwarmers, knitted as simple tubes, use the same lace patterning as the socks.
The socks are designed to fit three sizes, from S (to fit UK shoe size 5) to L (to fit UK shoe size 7). The wristwarmers are designed for two sizes, S-M (to fit 16cm wrist circumference) and M-L (to fit 17.75cm wrist circumference). You can find our knitting abbreviations here.

Ooh, they are lovely, aren't they? I'm not sure where they're from, I'll ask The Knitter team!
