Easy to knit and easy to wear, this lightweight shrug folds up small enough to fit into a large handbag or the bottom of a shopping bag, making it the simple solution when you’re going out and don’t know what the weather’s going to be like. Now you can be prepared for anything.
The shrug is knitted from Manos del Uruguay lace yarn from Artesano, a luxurious yarn but one with lots of yardage, so you only need two skeins. “The Lace colour range was expanded recently,” says Kirstie McLeod, “and this is one of the six new shades. A simple pattern like this can take a strongly variegated yarn, so go ahead and knit with a bold one.”
