Relax, you look great! You do if you’re wearing this cable cardigan designed by Sarah Hatton, anyway. The drop-shouldered shape and swinging lines flatter all sorts of figures, while the cables draw the eye up and down and give an impression of slimness. The wide scoop neck and three-quarter sleeves will show off a suntan or some pretty jewellery. It’s great for popping on over lightweight tops or sundresses, and the neutral colour Sarah chose is really versatile and will work with both printed and plain garments.
The pattern is designed for eight sizes, from S (to fit bust 81cm) to 5XL (to fit bust 117cm). You can find all our knitting abbreviations here.

I am knitting this cardigan, but am confused by the shaping on the front pieces. On the left front the pattern reads" Decrease 1 stitch at beg of 15th and 3 following 12th rows".
By decreasing at the beginning of row 12, I am decreasing at the front edge, not the side seam edge. Should the pattern read "decrease 1 stitch at the end of the 3 following 12th rows"? Thank you.
