Brighten up a sofa with this classic bolster using a slip stitch pattern in sugary shades
Slip stitch patterning can be used to produce lovely effects - here Emma King has used these techniques to create a textured bolster knitting pattern in five shades of Rowan Handknit Cotton. “The sweet shop was the inspiration for this bolster cushion,” says Emma. “The bright sugary shades of cotton worked in an all-over slip stitch pattern are reminiscent of sprinkles on top of a delicious cupcake!” The circular bolster ends are finished with buttons, created by knitting a small section of fabric and attaching it to a self-cover button.
