Louise has created some pretty relief designs using a technique called appliqué to embellish the simple stocking stitch cover. “I wanted to create a design that reflected my family roots from the Forest of Dean. I love the strength and majesty that the oak represents, and it's such a beautiful tree in the autumn as the leaves change colour from green to rust, which I have mirrored in the colours I've used here,” says Louise.
