Some knitting patterns are all about texture, and with this elegant, understated design, the cable strip really adds a twist. Sarah Hatton says she chose the yarn because she knew it would emphasise this detail: “The Favorito yarn has a beautiful soft handle and light texture, making it perfect for this simple cable detail top.”
Though the yarn knits as aran, being sleeveless and ultra soft ensures it’s lightweight enough for these early autumn days, while the enticing colour gives it a fresh feel that will make it just as appealing to wear next spring. In short, it’s the ideal transitional wear. As winter creeps in, swap your blouse for a long-sleeved tee and you’ll still be in the pink!
We think it’s perfectly balanced between smart and casual, so it will team as beautifully with neater daytime outfits for the office as it will with jeans for a walk in the park.
This pattern is designed for eight UK dress sizes, from size 8 (to fit bust 81cm) to size 22 (to fit bust 117cm). You'll find our full list of knitting abbreviations here.

Hello I never did figure out where the 33 std were, so I just continued around neck with the 8sts on the holders.
Here is the finished top, I used the Sidir yarn you sent me when I subscribed to your great magazine, the top is so pretty and lovely and warm, I have received many compliments when wearing it. The cables look great thank you for such a great pattern

I'm stuck,
on shape shoulder for the front it says with RS facing rejoin yarn to rem 33sts but I only have x2 lots of 8sts on two stitch holders to work the cables to go round to the back of the neck?
Where do I find these rem 33 sts to rejoin the yarn too?
Dawn
