And it's also a pleasure to knit. “I chose a textured stitch in place of a multi-coloured pattern as I thought this particular stitch would look good on both sides of the blanket,” says designer Amanda Jones.
She explains that the chart isn't as daunting as it might first appear: “Once the pattern has been established I think a novice knitter would be very capable of doing this design and would feel really pleased with themselves when they had finished it. Because it is not a huge blanket it would not take too long to complete the project.”
