Luella baby blanket

A special baby blanket is always a welcome gift for new parents, and this pretty design (part of our baby knitting patterns series) includes a matching soft doll for baby to hold. This is a traditional baby blanket with a contemporary twist. The decorative border is reminiscent of an heirloom blanket, while the grey yarn brings it up to date. The simple doll uses the blanket border as her skirt, and the floppy arms and legs give her a rag-doll feel.
