    Knitted bunting

Knit up some bunting to brighten up any party...

Give someone special a birthday party they'll never forget, and decorate using this fab knitted bunting. The bunting knitting pattern is a novel knit, but in no way a frivolous use of yarn. Because it's knitted from Patons Smoothie, which has a cotton-like look and feel but is 1% acrylic, the bunting is suitable for use indoors and out. It can be washed if it gets grubby and folds away for storage, so there's potentially years - generations, even - of use in each string.

Designer Amanda Jones has worked out colour schemes that will appeal to boys and girls. “My daughter definitely liked the idea of the bunting for the girls and wants it in her room,” she says. However, you can vary the colours if you like. Try pastels for a baby's party, or lime green, coral and bright pink for a lively grown-up birthday party.
