Originally designed in Inca Cloud (Scarlet), this more recent incarnation of Jean Moss' sleek, wide-necked sweater benefits from the ultra-soft splendour of Artesano's Baby Alpaca DK, and is one of ten patterns featured in Artesano's Inca Mist, a new collection that makes use of the exquisitely soft yarn. We particularly love the beautiful sweeping foldover neckline and cuffs. Designer Jean Moss loved preparing this project, which she called 'Ruby' after the dark red colouring of the original design. Although we've used a romantic, hazy green yarn in this version, if you'd prefer a brighter splash of colour a deep, earthy red creates a wonderfully dramatic version of this design. “I love lacy knits,” Jean explains, drawing our attention to the jumper's delicate stitchwork. “Ruby is an easy introduction to lacy stitches.” By opting for a two-row stitch pattern, Jean has provided a high-impact design that requires minimal expertise. Even fledgling knitterswill be able to tackle this one.

This project is designed for five sizes, from XS (to fit bust 81cm) to XL to fit bust 101cm.
