It’s essentially two squares, worked from the centres out, with double decreases worked at four points on each side. Sarah has written the pattern both for working straight and for working in the round, so choose which method you prefer. Sarah has used a 4ply yarn from SMC Select, a German yarn producer which is part of the Coats family. Highland Alpaca Fino is a luxurious yarn made from alpaca and Andean pure new wool, and is available in 12 rich shades.
