When the days are dark and cold, there's nothing as comforting as curling up in bed or on the sofa with a cosy hot water bottle. Make this colourwork hot water bottle cover as a gift, or to cheer up your favourite 'patient', to remind them you care while they recuperate from winter colds and sniffles. . Designer Jen Arnall-Culliford comments, “As it is a small project, it would be good for knitters new to colourwork. Also, as you work in the round for most of the cover, you are always looking at the right side of the work and this makes it much easier to see the pattern. “If you are new to Fair Isle, just work slowly, marking off the rows of the chart as you complete them, and keep your stitches spread out on the needles so that the floats at the back of the work don't pull too tight.” Great advice there to help you get started!
