Here’s a project you can make in stages. Make a set of small squares, join them together into a larger square and knit a border. Do that a few more times, stitch them together and, hey presto, you’ve made a blanket.
Designer Fiona Morris says, “This is an easy project with colour created from the character of the stripy yarn. Because you build it up using a basic pattern, you can work at your own pace, and it won’t suffer if you have to put it away when life gets busy.”
This pattern is available in the November 2012 issue of Simply Knitting (99) - the price we've listed is for buying the digital issue on Apple Newsstand.
