Wrap up warm and look stylish! This is a quick-to-knit project, but one that involves several techniques to keep it interesting. There's short-row shaping at the back of the neck to make it lie beautifully, and the collar is knitted in two pieces and grafted together using Kitchener stitch. It would also be a good pattern for anyone wanting to try cabling without a cable needle.
Designer Jeanette Sloan says,”I wanted to create a statement accessory that was more than simply a scarf but didn't involve complicated shaping. Short row shaping creates the rise in the ribbing which allows the design to fit snugly into the back of the neck, feeling like a big woolly hug!”
