Designed by Fiona McTague, the colourful horizontal bands and geometric patterns of this delightful baby knitting pattern have been created using the clever two colour stranding technique, so you'll only ever be working with two colours at any one time. You'll find a little experience will help as the shapings of the tank top are done in conjunction with the pattern.
Fiona's choice of colours is more muted than the strong colours that are usually associated with Fair Isle, which makes this tank a more versatile item. “Though the top is suitable for all year round, the colour palette is inspired by summer, ice-creams and sorbets!” says Fiona.
