With their motifs evoking the seedheads of poppies, these wristwarmers and cowl have a simple elegance
By combining two simple stitch patterns - a seedhead pattern and ribbing - Emma Vining has created an appealing set of accessories, including a cowl and wristwarmers in a choice of two lengths. The seedhead pattern is created by increasing and decreasing to make different size motifs and wavy rib stems.
The sizes for this pattern are:
Cowl: 26cm long x 35cm wide
Short Wristwarmers: 18cm long x 22cm circumference around hand.
Long Wristwarmers: 48cm long x 22cm circumference around hand and 27cm (101⁄2in) circumference around upper arm.
Note: The rib in the wristwarmers means they will stretch to fit most hand sizes.
