    At his leisure

Goodbye, starchy shirts and stuffy suit! This cosy knitted jacket is perfect for him to relax in.

Far more casual than a suit jacket, but more structured than a cardigan, this knitted jacket is perfect for any man who's enjoying a day away from work. Whether he's off to watch sports, go fishing, go sightseeing or just stay at home, this jacket will be the perfect thing to wear. “This gorgeous yarn is really thick and will be very warm and comfortable to wear so the jacket is OK for the great outdoors, even worn over another sweater. It looks great with the collar up at the back,” says designer Pat Menchini. Because the yarn used is pure wool, you will need to wash it by hand and dry it flat.

Just bad at updating my progress. I am finished and he loves it. Also good for the ego because made a size smaller than normal, must be the UK sizing, different from North American

Project complete! Very pleased with the result. I did use two less balls of yarn than stated in the pattern, the finished item has come out the right size even so.

Wow, I'm really impressed with your multi-tasking – knitting during the Olympics and through a car journey. That's dedication!

Hi, I have completed the back and started one front. No problems with the yolk pattern. I am very pleased with the result so far.

I managed to track down the wool for this jacket from the woolleyjumper on the internet. 1/2 price as discontinued. I started the jacket on the 23rd July as an xmas pressie for my son in law.
