Relaxed jacket with a smart chequered pattern has a cosy feel
This long, cosy jacket from designer Sarah Hatton is both practical and smart. The chequered pattern used on the sleeves and either side of the button bands is worked using both the Fair Isle and intarsia techniques, and works beautifully in the two shades of Rowan’s Creative Focus Worsted used here. The jacket fastens at the bust with two rows of paired silver buttons, which give the garment a feminine touch.
This jacket is designed for four UK dress sizes, from size 8 (to fit bust 81cm) to size 22 (to fit bust 117cm). You can find a full list of knitting abbreviations here.
