    How to do lazy daisies

Embellish your knitted pieces with simple stitched effects.

Bring the needle through the fabric at 1. If you are making a flower, the stitch will start in the centre. Take the needle back through the same hole you came out, at 2, leaving a loop on top of the fabric. Bring the needle up again at 3, take it over and under the loop and pull gently to form the 'petal'. Secure the loop flat against the fabric by pushing the needle in again at 4 to make a small stitch. Repeat for more petals. Add as many as you wish.
