We just had to give a cross stitched nod to the good old British tradition of tea-drinking at all times and in all places. This chic and quirky sampler will look fantastic on a kitchen shelf or wall, and you could easily change some of the thread colours if you’ve got a special colour scheme you need it to fit in with. The design area for this sampler is 23x33.5cm.

We’ve finished our sampler as a stretched canvas rather than putting it in a frame, as the design already has a cute little scalloped edge to draw the eye. Stretched canvases are really easy, so if you’ve never tried one before don’t worry – this project includes an easy step-by-step guide.

This is a pdf article, first published in CrossStitcher. It includes all the cross stitch charts you need to stitch this design. Any reader offers or promotions featured were correct at the time of publication, but may no longer be available.
