This design took quite a while to be realised, as Jane explains, “I was in the process of turning out my office here at Pinks Barn and I found some lovely snowy pictures of the local church and views over the river and out and about. Amongst the muddle there was some lovely blue fabric and snowdrop illustrations. I think I must have put the things together with something in mind and then forgotten all about it. As I am just recovering from the delivery of yet another book (Fabulous Flowers, published in 26 by David & Charles), I was really into flowers, so I combined all sorts of elements. As I'm sure that you know I love samplers, particularly band samplers, and so there was no choice really!”
