The combination of neat backstitch and detailed cross stitch gives it a delicate, refined touch while a few shisha mirrors (shisha means 'glass' or 'mirror' in Hindi), or pearl buttons, keeps it modern and interesting. We've used a rustic aida to allow the cream embellishments to stand out and add sparkle, but you can easily change the thread and fabric colours to suit your taste or décor.
