With so many different colourful stitched patterns and clever use of running stitch and zig zag backstitch details, Angela Poole has created a cross stitch owl in a wonderfully vintage patchwork style. There’s so much detail in this design with flowers, stripes, spots, hearts – even his eyes have little floral motifs inside them!
He’s great fun to stitch, and to have sitting on your sofa! Beware though, once you’ve stitched one you may want to stitch him some companion cushions!
