There's so much sweet detail in Gail's sampler, from the delicate flowers around the border to the little nesting birds. It won't take long to stitch up this lovely piece and it will bring warmth and love to any home. Start stitching from the centre as always and work the birdhouses first. Add the blue border, then the floral border and lettering before finishing with the chequered pink border. Evenweave fabric is more delicate than aida blocks, so try to keep an even stitching tension as you work. Using a hoop or roller frame to keep your fabric taut will help with this. If you are using a hoop, remove your work when you are not stitching as it will mark the fabric.
