    Flopsy, Topsy & Mop

Once upon a time there were three kittens who lived in a teacup and won full marks for easy-to-stitch joy and utter cuteness. Resist them if you can.

These sweet cross stitched kitties are great fun to stitch! They're a great project if you're in a hurry too - to stitch each one will only take a couple of hours -they're really just a few whole stitches with some backsttich detailing - stitch your own using our kitten chart in this pdf project from Cross Stitcher magazine. Then have fun sewing up your finished stitches into 3D kitties! Give them a vintage feel by stitching on to linen.

Would this be a good project for a first time cross stitcher?

Hi! The stitching itself isn't complex, and would certainly suit a first time cross stitcher. However, these kitties are stitched on linen rather than aida, and there's some making up to do, so they are a little more tricky than some other beginner projects.

I just found out I am going to have a new grandbaby and thought of how cute they would be as a first hand toy for the baby, then as a little toy to play with at a later time...So darling.
