These intricately detailed creatures are known as Dala Horses, or Dalahäst in Swedish. They were first created by woodcutters as children's toys, but over the years they've grown to become an icon of Sweden. Recently, we've spotted them trotting into homes and high streets around the rest of the world, and their bold colours and patterns make them perfect for both festive and year-round decorating. There are four charts here in different sizes and colours - stitch them all or pick a fave!

Just started the cushion sized chart, but as a picture to frame for my bedroom. Been dreaming of starting it for ages, but had to get another project finished first!
