I shall be putting an embroidered Faery on the felt instead of the reindeer :-) wish me luck!

The instructions are incomplete. How do you put the deer on the felt?
Please help.

Hello hrqueen! You use waste canvas to stitch the little deer directly on to the felt – we've got a tutorial here, if you've never tried this technique before:

I made my little deer into a needlecase-he's so cute!

Aw, that's adorable! (A-deer-able?) Nice work. I can't wait to stitch this little design, but I need to get my hands on some waste canvas...

Thankyou Jenny :) I used soluble canvas as I found it easier to work with on felt.
Faerydesigns said on 13th January 2013
By soluble canvas do you mean the canvas that you pull the threads through afterwards?
Jenny said on 16th January 2013
Soluble canvas usually means the type that dissolves in water – waste canvas is the kind where you pull the threads through. There's a little more info here:

Hope that helps! :)
