    Hello hrqueen! You use waste canvas to stitch the little deer directly on to the felt – we've got a tutorial here, if you've never tried this technique before:

    Thankyou Jenny :) I used soluble canvas as I found it easier to work with on felt.

    By soluble canvas do you mean the canvas that you pull the threads through afterwards?

    Soluble canvas usually means the type that dissolves in water – waste canvas is the kind where you pull the threads through. There's a little more info here:
