Charm of the Orient

This cross stitch chart brings together several design elements to create a beautiful piece, right down to the imitation bamboo moulding for the frame. It was a favourite piece for Diane to design, “I find art and textiles from different cultures very inspiring. Chinese art is one of my favourites and a subject I never tire of returning to. This design incorporates a little of everything I love about it - gorgeous colour, decorative pattern and very often a written message. The lettering here represents a wish for happiness, wealth and longevity.”
