    Picot trellis

    As seen in Simply Knitting

    This easy crochet pattern is great for lacy edges or even funky scarves

    Make a chain in multiples of 5 plus 1, and then add 1 ch for turning (Try 32 ch.)

    Row 1 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, *ch 5, skip next 4 ch; rep from * to end with 1 dc in last ch, turn.

    Row 2 *Ch 5, picot (1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in 3rd ch of next 5 ch; rep from * until last 2 ch and dc, ch 2, 1 tr in last dc, skip t-ch, turn.

    Row 3 Ch 1, 1 dc in st at base of ch, *ch 5, skip picot, (1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in 3rd ch of next 5 ch; rep from * until last picot and 5 ch, skip picot and work 1 dc into the 5 ch sp, turn.

    Rep rows 2 and 3 for pattern.
