Christmas wouldn't be complete without a glorious poinsettia standing guard over the gifts. With vivid red petals (bracts, if you're green-fingered) and tiny yellow centres, they bring a cheerful splash of colour to winter days, and make perfect card subjects! We asked Anna Moore to share her secrets. “This is an iconic Christmas plant and the ideal choice for traditional festive cards,” says Anna. “Felt blooms are the quickest option for last-minute makes. A diamond-shaped stamp creates pretty petals, or score lines into simple card shapes for a realistic effect.”

This is a pdf article, first published in Papercraft inspirations. It includes a step-by-step tutorial for how to recreate one of Anna's poinsettia cards. All shopping lists and supplies suggestions in this pdf were correct at the time of publication, but you may need to improvise & shop around if items are no longer in the shops.
