French-themed designs – Parisian ones in particular – are a hot trend in card making at the moment. “The Gallic look can be difficult to achieve if you’re trying to draw illustrations by hand,” says Angela Poole, “And that’s why I love these Penny Black stamps so much! They make it quick and easy to achieve an artistic look to your cards, even if your skills with a pencil are very limited”. The stamp designs are fun to colour in – especially when it comes to choosing what shades or patterns to make the clothes and shoes!
