Kids will love this fairytale Fimo clay birthday card - make it in their favourite colours!

This card is easy to make - simply roll out a piece of polymer clay, place the template on top, and use a needle to 'trace' the template shape into the soft clay. You'll find the template below, under 'Need a hand with this project?'.

    You will need:

    Basic card kit, plus...

    Step 1

Mix the White and Raspberry clay together to make a pale pink colour. Roll out the clay and place the castle template on top of it. Trace around the template with a needle and cut the castle out.

    Step 2

Use the needle to define the details on the castle. Cut a flower out of Lavender clay, and then cut the centre out of it with a straw. Use the same straw to cut a tiny piece of pink clay to replace the centre of the flower. Bake all the clay pieces according to the instructions on the packet.

    Step 3

Print a sentiment straight on to the card blank. Cut a panel of blue card for the sky and fix into position. Cut a hill shape from green card and stick it in place.

    Step 4

Arrange the castle and the clay flower on the card. Cut card details for the castle and stick them in place. Cut a few fluffy pink clouds and punch some small flowers to decorate.
